I don’t usually remember my dreams but I had a weird/stupidly scary enough one last night that I could remember it very clearly when I woke.

Let’s just say dreams involving murderous bank robberies and snakes don’t tend to be much craic.

When I told one of the girls in the gym about it this morning, their response was:

“Jesus there’s a lot going on in that – you should Google what it means!”

Cue investing (ok wasting) a load of time reading about dreams and what our brains are telling us this morning.

The good news is that you don’t need to have nightmares to be aware of things your body is telling you.

Unfortunately like most of my dreams, people tend to forget about or ignore little warning signs quite quickly.

Things like:
– Struggling to get up a flight of stairs
– Sore, tight muscles
– Blood pressure issues
– Lack of energy or desire/confidence to do things you would usually enjoy
– Your belt getting that bit tighter
– Lowered immune system
– Etc

The above tend to be a wake up call for you to start looking at your daily habits and putting some steps in place to improve them – from a health point of view.

And making the necessary improvements doesn’t have to be as scary as a bad nightmare, some of the steps you can start with include:
– Increasing daily steps
– Starting a resistance training program 3 times a week
– Upping your water intake
– Starting to practice mindful eating
– Improving your quality and quantity of sleep

I could keep going with tips, but the main thing is that you get going with the right actions if you want to get fitter and healthier.

We have 3 more spaces available before Christmas in our Semi Private program for people who want to get ahead of the New Year rush and start improving their health and fitness.

If you’re one of them, send us a DM and we will be in touch to go through the program and how we can help…
