First and foremost a gym is somewhere you go to get physically fitter and stronger.

In our opinion however you should look to get much more from your health and fitness regime/community and also look for things like:

AN ESCAPE from things like work/life stressors. Tip: leave your phone behind while you train!

– A COMMUNITY, where you can develop friendships/have training partners who will help you enjoy and get the most from your sessions.

– SAFETY, basically the knowledge that you’ll be judged (somewhere with the knowledge that we all have our starting spot), and obviously somewhere you know will take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of its community.

THE FEELING OF PERSONAL GROWTH, which can be achieved by hitting strength or weight loss targets or even just the realisation that you’re now a person who looks after themselves consistently…

Get the above four things in place and you’ll not only be far more likely to stick to your fitness regime long – term, you enjoy the process of getting fitter and healthier as well!
